TAK.NZ is New Zealand's shared situational awareness platform for emergency responders. It gives Fire and Emergency NZ (FENZ), NZ Police, Hato Hone St John, LandSAR, NEMA, Health NZ, NZ Defence Force, and other agencies a single, live, shared map — so everyone responding to an incident can see who else is there, what's happening, and where the hazards are, in real time.

Think of it as a shared live map where every responding unit, hazard zone, and data layer is visible to everyone who needs it — across agencies, without extra radio traffic or phone calls just to ask "where are you?"

TAK.NZ is built on TAK (Team Awareness Kit), the same technology used by public safety and defence organisations around the world. It runs on your phone (ATAK for Android, TAK Aware for iPhone), on a laptop (WinTAK), or straight in your browser (CloudTAK) — no specialised hardware required.
